NoPlaceLikeHome
I stumbled across this site in my readings:) Has anyone tried this? It is a contest for high school students or possibly younger for history research papers. It is open to homeschoolers. I asked:D My ds is not ready for this sort of thing yet of course;) http://tcr.org/nwb/index.htm
MBM
I stumbled across this site in my readings:) Has anyone tried this? I asked:D My ds is not ready for this sort of thing yet of course;) http://tcr.org/nwb/index.htm I posted something about it last year. From my understanding, it's quite something to get published in The Concord Review. I'm surprised it's not discussed more here on the WTM. Anyway, the high school my son will attend participates. I don't know if any of the students have been published, though.
Corraleno
There was an interesting article on the Concord Review in the NY Times last week: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/08/education/08research.html?partner=rss&emc=rss Jackie
NoPlaceLikeHome
Mr. Fitzhugh is the person I emailed to ask about homeschoolers. He called us "homescholars.":D He also said that several homescholars have had their papers published there.
