iPad apps?

Recommended Posts

You can download free kindle and nook apps so that you can read books from Amazon and B & N. Kindle then has a large number of free books available. I don't know if B & N does. You can also purchase & read e-books from these vendors as well.

Great adult apps:

Angry Birds and Angry Bird Holiday - fun strategy demolition game that will suck your time away!

Grocery IQ - it is a grocery list with the capability to track prices, arrange list by store and aisle and a lot of features I haven't figured out yet!

Facebook - free download, easier to use than going through safari

weather.com - local weather on demand

awesome note - make lists, arrange by category in folders

iPeriod - a cycle tracker w/the capability to track pms symptoms, etc.

New York Times - a tremendous amount of the newspaper is available at no cost

School apps:

Quizlet flashcards - tap into existing data base, create your own cards, tracks performance & adjusts rate of repetition accordingly

SAT vocabulary from Princeton Review - vocabulary quizzes in the form of games
