I just got my Kindle this week and added a ton of free books. They have pretty much all the Jane Austen books, not just the ones you listed as well. Also, I didn't see it, but they have several of the Wizard of Oz books.

Google has free books in a new easy to read format as well for classics:

Of course, you can still download PDFs of these books as well from Google books. I don't think this format is compatible with kindle but I could be wrong;) I am hoping to get an ipad type device in the spring:)
