Oh fun! Are you getting any of these used? You'll be able to find LOW prices on several of those if you buy an older edition used (Elements, Warriner, Spielvogel).

Yes, I found great deals on them all including teacher's manuals for Elements in the same edition. Very exciting!

How You Know You're a Homeschool Mom, #17:

You buy curriculum with your birthday money.

Love it! I totally do it too. Have fun. It looks to me like you have a great list already. My big splurge would be a DVD series, like Lost Tools of Writing, or IEW, or even a Teaching Company series.

I also ordered

A Liberated Imagination by Leyland Ryken

Cultural Literacy, E.D. Hirsch

and the instructor's manual to my Perrine's edition

These have all been coming in (many used and for great prices). I'm so enjoying looking through them and beginning several. I'm so looking forward to this next season of homeschooling!! Thanks for the help...
