but for Logic stage children? It seems like I saw something like it and now I can't find it anywhere. I could heavily abridge Clan of the Cave Bear but I would rather get something that dd11 could just read straight through and get a good idea of what life was like in prehistoric times (as much as anyone can know, I suppose).

Warrior Scarlet is set in the Bronze Age. I haven't read it in thirty years but I remember finding it vivid. Sun Horse, Moon Horse is also Bronze Age, but I haven't read it. We also enjoyed Ug for fun.

Oh, I've read the whole series, lol, and I look forward to the new one coming out. I wondered how it would sound with some of the more explicit, yet important, parts cut out. Rape is a pretty violent concept to introduce to an 11 year old. Maybe I should go back and read it again myself.

I can't remember if there was any age appropriate issues though. It's a really fat book.
