SueTx
Is it possible (or even advisable) to go to Statistics after Algebra 2? Or would it be better to go to Pre-Calc first? I'm planning ahead for dd's dual credit classes and was trying to figure out if Stat could be one of them. Thanks, Sue

K-FL
At our cc, you can take Statistics w/a lower placement score than you can College Algebra or Math for Liberal Arts. Dd#1 took it (at the cc) after only Alg I & Geometry so anything after that should be fine.

However... logarithms figure in rather heavily for translating exponential data to a linear form to do regression lines... and I would want the student to be absolutely, perfectly clear on coordinate graphing of linear, exponential, and quadratic equations, and on graphing translations. Logarithms are usually Algebra 2, but sometimes get nudged over to precalculus... the graphing should be Algebra 2. If either of those isn't covered, though... I think I'd wait. Kareni
I recall when my daughter took AP Statistics through PA Homeschoolers that the prerequisite was Algebra 2. Regards, Kareni
