wy_kid_wrangler04
I would like to do a year of Government and Ecomonics with my dd next year in 8th. Any good suggestions for a middle school curriculum that would work for that? I am looking for Christian materials :001_smile: TIA

Guest
Doesn't BJU have a text for that?
bunnyvirus
I would suggest a curriculum that includes very detailed information on the bill of rights. Nothing else get a copy of the Bill of Rights and have your child write an essay for each amendment.
Jane Elliot
I really like this for that age. It's not Christian, but it's a good solid study of the Constitution. It's recommended in WTM for 8th grade. http://www.amazon.com/Living-Constitution-Grades-American-History/dp/076822456X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1290051115&sr=8-
johnandtinagilbert
We used Our Living Constitution with much success. TOG rec. it, but we just kept plugging away and completed the entire workbook. It did a great job and I think not only helped our understanding of the Constitution, but also will fully prepare my dc to take an online Gov't course.
