chickenpatty
I knew she was sick earlier, but now she really sounds bad. very hoarse, noisy breathing. Pediatrician is open tomorrow morning, pray that she makes it through the night w/o an ER visit. :(

Jenn in Mo
Oh, No!! I'm sure you know all the 'stuff'....cool air alternating with steamy air, cool mist humidifier.... something else that helped us last time was an ice pack (boo boo bunny) rubbed around the throat and chest. We pretended the bunny was kissing her. We did this while keeping her calm, watching t.v. It got us through the night without needing the breathing machine. This was night #2 though so I don't know if it would have made much difference with the first night since they are usually worse. Praying for you! Mandamom
I hope she feels better soon. We just got over it with ds almost 2 and we barely managed to avoid an ER visit -- probably because we've been through it before. We always have high fevers (104+) here, too, which stresses me out to no end. I hope it is a good evening and that she feels better soon.
