Addicted to the internet?

Recommended Posts

OK, I had to check....and I actually had a low score. 35. Phew!! I like being with y'all, but I certainly don't fantasize about being with you, ya know what I mean?!:)

I am a 42 and although I don't fantasize about being with you all, I did dream about Abbeyej once. :o

Karenciavo, who right now should be sleeping, but is online, I should go to bed, right?

Oh man, you got me. I've had several WTM dreams. One about MFS and one about Colleen. I better go change my score.

I used to never get on the board in the middle of a school day. I need to be put in time-out!

I think some of my answers were colored by the excitement of this new board and the fact that I just (finally!) started a blog. So I do think about what I'm going to put on my blog.

One thing that always helped me stay off the boards before is just to lurk. If I'm not waiting for an answer to something, or part of a conversation, there's less temptation to stay on.

You are an average on-line user. You may surf the Web a bit too long at times, but you have control over your usage.

I expected much worse.

Perhaps I'm just lying to myself and all my answers to the quiz were lies, lies, and more lies :p

I really and truly expected considerably worse than that LOL

Knowing how similar we are, I really doubt that! :D

HA! No I did! I don't ignore the house for the internet, I ignore it just to ignore it! Really I had a bunch that just didn't really apply to me it seemed.

Plus it's different over here in the wacky time zone. But I'll tell you, the cell phone was the one I had problems with when I got here. Not having that about drove me over the edge. But what if I had to make a phone call in the middle of being somewhere? What if the husband just left to run an errand? How was I supposed to call him 3 minutes into his trip to add things to his list if he doesn't have a phone? What if I have down time and we're sitting at the park? How am I supposed to call my mother, or Gina, or GASP Jennifer? (Being places without you was just odd in the beginning too!)

But it got easier when I got used to the idea that even if I had the phone, I couldn't call anyone because a) you'd all be asleep and b) we get charged for ANY call we make on the cell phone. Even if it just connects to a answering machine and you hang up right away, it's 15 Yen and then it goes up for every minute from there. I can't imagine what an international call would be!
