schmittgirlz
Hi, I have two students who are taking physics this year. One student is excelling with Giancoli, while the other is struggling. As a result, I am switching one to Hewitt's Conceptual Physics. I have the student edition, but want to know which of the following resources are essential: the teacher edition, the guide, or the problem solver. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Clare Hi Clare, We assigned all of the review questions, "plug and chugs" and "think and solve" problems at the end of each chapter in CP. For this reason, I was glad to have a teacher's edition that had the answers. My husband functioned as guide and problem solver, when necessary. ;) Jane
Nan in Mass
I was very glad to have the teacher edition. I can't always solve all the problems. My husband explains when necessary, too. I've received a number of tutoring sessions along with my morning cup of tea. Sigh.
Ruth in Canada
I have a degree in physics, but still appreciated having the answers in the teacher's manual.
