Mabelen
You are going to think we're complete ignorant nuts, but while my oldest was teaching my youngest, a little piece of paper fell through the keys (she was using the little papers to help with note identification). We could hear it when playing the note, then we could no longer hear it but you can see it. We can't reach it to take it out... we tried! Is this going to damage our piano? Is there anything we can do or should do about it?
Sara in AZ
No, a little piece of paper stuck in the keyboard will not damage your piano. If it's not bothering you or affecting the sound, then just mention to your piano tuner next time he's over and he can get it out.
Mabelen
Thank you so much for putting my mind at rest, Sara! We'll continue the lesson...
