Sunshine State Sue
So, we're going to be starting Jacob's Geometry in a few weeks following this schedule (Thanks, Angie!). I've bought the test bank. I'm confused as to why the midterm and final exam have a part 1 and part 2. Thoughts? Would anybody like to share with me how they decide to grade these tests. I need to provide grades and I'd like to have some logical method. Thanks!
AngieW in Texas
They have a part 1 and a part 2 because they are long and are intended to be done over two class periods instead of one.
Sunshine State Sue
Thanks, Angie. In that schedule that you posted, did you do problems from Set I only?
AngieW in Texas
My dd started off doing the problems Jacobs had listed for his regular class, but by the time she was about 1/3 of the way through the book, she switched to doing the problems he had listed for his honors class. But, the problems they list, are they all from Set I? not Set II or Set III? I would think the Honor's classes would have some from Set III. Why else include them in the book? AngieW in Texas
The problems are from a mix of sets 1 and 2. The set 3 problems are for extra credit.
