DebbS
My son, a rising 10th grader, completed a course in World History last year without the AP test in mind. He enjoyed the course quite a bit so this year he is considering studying for the exam. I am wondering how other people have self-studied for this exam successfully. What resources did you find most helpful?

Beebalm
My junior dd got a 5 on World History. She used the AP edition of World Civilizations, The Global Experience by Stearns as her base text. She supplemented with AP World History: An Essential Coursebook by Ethel Wood. Her study guide was 5 Steps To A 5, McGraw Hill. She read, made notes, and practiced writing essays rapidly. She was surprised by the 5 because there was a fire drill mid test and she said it blew her concentration. :tongue_smilie:Hope that helps.
