cyndyinohio
Looking into options for online math classes and wondered about Thinkwell...any input? Are they complete or supplemental? Anyone have experience with these? I see on the Homeschool Buyer's Co-op you can get a discount.
Belacqua
We used Thinkwell Calculus, and it was enough on its own as a complete course. There were two or three sections for which my son wanted a little extra practice, so we tracked down some supplemental problem sets, but for the most part, Thinkwell was more than adequate. There weren't lots and lots of practice problems, though. If your student would want more homework problems (more than about 12-15 per lecture), you might want to use a supplemental book or website. Professor Burger, who does (I think) all the math classes, is wonderful.
OLG
Complete program! As PP said, if your student needs more practice problems you can supplement. We used College Algebra and Calculus. Dr. Burger is excellent! Funny, clear and the knowledge sticks too. Highly recommend. Mary
