After reading through the rest of the library's stock of Squire's Tale books in the first week, he has now moved on to The Lightning Thief and is enjoying it so much he doesn't want to put it down at bedtime. His "boys book club" read Lightning Thief last summer, and it was the only book all year that every single one of the boys loved (and they all finished all three books before the club meeting as well). Ds got to meet Riordan in Sept. and was just in awe. ;) BTW, one of Riordan's two sons is home schooled! I missed your other post, Jenny... Has he read "The Mysterious Benedict Society" yet?
