corbie
My dd really likes the sample videos of VT, but I'm concerned about VT not having enough word problems and real like examples. She's doing LOF pre-Alg right now. She likes LOF, but I really want her to have some video instruction. Thanks for any input.
Grace is Sufficient
We used VT for Algebra and Modules A-C of geometry. After a short lived attempt at Chalkdust, we ended up in LOF Trig. I like both and think they would complement each other quite well. (My one complaint with LOF is that the answers are given, but the solutions aren't worked out, which gets pretty important in the upper grades.) corbie
Debbie - Thanks for your response. Were you happy w/VT overall? Are there any word problems? Did you feel it was challenging? That's too bad Fred doesn't have problems worked out. That's one reason I like VT. I guess I could e-mail Mr. Schmidt if I got confused. Fred is worth the extra effort.:)
