ALL Teaching Company DVD's on sale 70% off thru July 5th!

Recommended Posts

Oh yes, I just got my email too!! I've enjoyed my DVDs so much already. I see real danger in this sale...LOL! It's definitely worth getting an account even if you don't get this sale email now. I did order at the same time I set up my account the first time but the emails, notifications and extra site features have been truly worth it!

I can hardly contain myself!

Which ones are favorites for Ancients??

If you post the "Priority Code" at the bottom of the email, then everyone can benefit. :001_smile:

Here are 2 Coupon Codes that are currently working:

YNBZ = free shipping, should be good until 7/15

HKXM = $20 off any order over $100 (not sure when this expires, it didn't list a date in my email)

Priority Code 46937 = 70% off all modern history courses, expires Wed 6/30

IME, you can always combine at least one priority code and one coupon code, but sometimes they don't let you stack two coupon codes.

Bob Brier's Egypt courses are fantastic. DS loved the 12-lecture course (Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt) so much he insisted we get the long course (History of Ancient Egypt) as well. I think 48 lectures on Egypt is a LOT for most kids, though, unless they're really interested in the subject. Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt is just the right length, and incorporates a great deal of general history and culture (the lectures aren't just biographies). Plus it's quite inexpensive.

Teaching Company and two different websites popped up - one was www.teach12.com and the other was www.thegreatcourses.com. Which one is correct - they both look similar.

I noticed this too. The products are the same, but the prices can be different for sale items. The last sale they had I noticed cheaper prices on the great courses site. Why are there two sites? Marketed to different audiences?

I really would like to buy Masterworks of American Art, but at $254...

Does anyone know if this will go on sale? Does anyone know anything about this course? Is it appropriate for high school?

They say that each course goes on sale at least once a year.

They are always having special deals and sales. :D

PM the OP for the Priority Code that gives 70% off everything. People post their codes all the time, it's not "breaking the rules" or anything — hundreds of people get those codes, they're not just a special deal for one person. They just send different codes to different groups of people at different times. I had a "70% off every course" code a couple of weeks ago and posted it here, along with a free shipping code, and others posted $20 off and $30 off coupon codes.

You are lovely to post this. I just made my order prior to coming on here and I had to search all over for coupon codes. And here you have saved people valuable time. Yay, You.

it's not "breaking the rules" or anything —

:iagree:

According to their FAQ, the sale prices are the way they do business:

When and why do courses go on sale?

Every course we make goes on sale at least once a year. This revolving sales approach allows us to provide you with great value and great service.

Producing large quantities of only the sale courses keeps our manufacturing and inventory costs down, and we pass the savings on to you.

I'm glad to know we're free to post the priority codes. Thank you!:001_smile:
