I can't remember exactly, but it was something like: - listing important dates in each chapter - name two or three of the most important individuals in each chapter - list three or four events that stand out in each chapter - list people/events/ideas to further investigate It is a separate study from literature, unlike the 2004 edition. LOL, now having told you that, I'm curious if anyone actually uses that plan - there are 80-something chapters in HOAW! Melissa in Australia Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 I have adapted it slightly, my 2 older boys did HOAW last year, and are doing HOMW this year. They wrote 4 dates down for each chapter, and a sentence about what happened on those dates. This usually ends up covering the important events and people. we had to do 3 chapters a week to get through the book. this year we are only doing 2 chapters a week, and skipping all chapters on China.
