Karenciavo
I just read another thread in which creekland wrote that some practice test books are made up tests and sometimes harder. Does anyone know if this is the case with the Princeton Review 11 Practice Tests for the SATs. My son took the SATs for the first time last Saturday and he thought it was a lot easier than the 5 practice tests he took in this book. Just curious. Luckymama
Yes :) The only true tests are those published by the College Board in the Official SAT Study Guide, otherwise known as the Blue Book ('cause it's blue!)

Teachin'Mine
Yes they are much harder. The SAT test has also gotten easier in recent years, so the questions they use may be from older tests. My daughter thought the June test was even easier than the tests in the official SAT test book - and she wasn't complaining. :D

Vida Winter
I found it to be the case with prep books/standardized testing in the younger years so I am not surprised that it's the case with the SAT. But it's good to know -- I'd rather my kids over-prepare and be pleasantly surprised when it's not as difficult.
memphispeg
My dd thought the big blue book's tests were the best. Well edited, not confusing. She thought the Princeton Guide was on the wrong track about a lot of the questions. And while we are here....Does anyone have an ACT guide that they liked the best???
