For anyone familiar w/ Integrated Physics and Chemistry..Can this be done in 1 year?

Recommended Posts

by Pac.biz? My dd isn't doing anything science or math related for college. Could we move through this in an abbreviated fashion? She really only needs 1/2 a credit in Chemistry and 1 credit in Physics.

Is this possible. I'm not at all familiar with the program. I will research it, but I thought I'd ask first.

Thx,

Whitney

I think it is very doable. There are 12 booklets/chapters. Each has the pattern of 5 lessons, quiz; 5 lessons, quiz; 5 lessons, quiz, chapter test. If you planned to finish a booklet every 3 weeks, you would go through the entire course in a 36 week school year.

I haven't used this set, but we did the biology and anatomy (8 booklets together) ones this year. Each lesson only took my dd 20-30 mins. We started a bit late and still were able to finish it in a year.

I had written up a schedule to do the integrated course for this coming year, and it did all fit. We have school 4 days a week, and I believe that I scheduled it 2 lessons or 1 lesson and a quiz each day. And tests were on a day by themselves. And I think I had a study day before test day.

Did you make a schedule for the Integrated Chem/Physics program and that fit into 1 year?

I noticed they sell it chapter by chapter as well as the full kit. Do you know why someone would by it chapter by chapter. Is it pdf?

Thx,

Whitney
