Guest MamaBear10
I found some old vocabulary enhancement book written back in the '80s but I gave it a look through and thought it would be perfect for my soon to be 11th grader and I was just having trouble splitting it up. There are 25 lessons listed in the table of contents. Each lesson has about 3-6 exercises to go along with it. How would you split this up over 36 weeks? Would you have them do it everyday for about 25 weeks, 1 week per lesson, or would you split it up over 36 weeks? Any ideas welcome. P.S., this won't be one class but a part of her English course. She will be doing American Literature and grammar as well, and thought throwing this in would help with SAT's.
Starr
I would do a lesson a week and skip a week here and there when life got in the way.
Cedarmom
I'd go with the lesson a week. That gives you some slush time where you can skip it if she's busy or sick.
