Ever Feel...

Ever feel so tired you feel sick to your stomach?

 

Yeah. That's where I'm at.

 

Had a migraine last night, took my meds and was in bed by 8 pm.

 

Back up at 1030 because they weren't working.

 

Up again at midnight. Watched a bit of tv...better than staying in bed, stressing about not being asleep, esp when Wolf was snoring beside me. Watching your spouse contentedly sleep when you've been trying to get there for hours could provoke justifiable homicide, so better to get up and sit on the couch.

 

Back to bed at 130...last I saw of the clock it was 230 or so.

Princess has a night terror at 340. I get up with her, sending Wolf back to bed because his alarm was going to go off at 5.

 

Crawl back into bed shortly after 4 am. Kids up at shortly after 6 am.

 

I'm *praying* they will go for Quiet Time and actually *nap*. I need sleep, or I'm going to throw up, burst into sobs, or both.

 

I'm so tired of being sleep deprived. It seems like the meds bounce off each other and keep me up some nights...but I've no idea which ones are the problem. I see the pain specialist on Fri, and this is going to the top of the 'issues' list...I need sleep. Even a few nights a week that I can count on getting solid sleep.

 

I am lucky in that on the weekends, Wolf doesn't wake me unless its noon. He knows how bad sleep is for me, and often its 2am or later before I fall into a 'good' sleep...so he lets me go as late as possible.

 

I pay him back by letting him get a nap;) He's incapable of sleeping in, is always up before his alarm, no matter what day it is.
