Only me Posted April 23, 2010 Share Posted April 23, 2010 I would like to have my 6th grade son do some kind of a research type project to finish up the school year. I'm thinking about something similar to a state study but I don't necessarily want to do that. I don't want anything too heavy and something that he could handle pretty much on his own. I would like for it to include several areas including reading books on the topic, doing light research on the computer, writing paragraphs and perhaps something visual like pictures or charts. Dobela Posted April 23, 2010 Share Posted April 23, 2010 When I was 6th grade, our teachers always had us do reasearch type papers on local/state topics-sports, interesting history, industry, activities for families to do, etc. Of course, back in the old days, we always started with an encyclopedia entry about some other place as a model LOL.
