Nissi Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 feedback? Also, if you did Apologia Chemistry prior to taking this course did it prepare your child adequately for the AP course? And the class did a great job of preparing for the AP exam -- my son honestly walked out of the AP exam thinking he got every question correct! My son entered with an abysmal chemistry background, so he had to work really really hard the first few weeks of the class to catch up. The teacher was helpful and answered questions quickly and in a way that really helped my son get up to speed on the material. Things my son liked about the class -- The labs actually worked!!! :) The teacher was available, helpful, and quick to answer questions. The assignments were thorough but were not busywork. He really learned the material. He felt supported throughout the class. My younger son took Honors Chemistry from ChemAdvantage this year and will be taking AP chemistry next year.
