LunaLee
Does anyone happen to have Jean in Wisc. lesson plans for this from a few years ago they would like to share? I had them saved, but lost them in a tragic computer accident.
AmeliaBinMO
Last year at a public school book sale I was able to pick up a copy of "A History of the United States" by Boorstin. I recognized the author's name from discussions on these boards. Jean, if you would be willing to share the lesson plans that LunaLee is referring to, I would be very grateful! Thank you in advance to Jean or anyone able to help! I really appreciate it! AmeliaBinMO

Jean in Wisc
This lesson plan has the child doing the reading of one section AND doing the essay questions for that section on the same day. There is no review or test day. When the child finishes the chapter, he prints the completed exam off the computer and hands it in. Jean in Wisc
Jean -- thank you! It is so kind of you to share this! Our homeschool has truly benefitted from your knowledge over the years. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom and experience! It is greatly appreciated! Thank you! AmeliaBinMO I've taken away a lot from these boards and from Susan's book. It is nice to be able to give back. I am just starting to put together my youngest child's junior year materials and decided to do his senior year as well--which means I am about to the end of this. Homeschooling is a lot of hard work, but it does come to an end and then you are left looking back and wondering what is ahead. My advice? Enjoy the journey!
