Johanna
I really want a certain comfoter for my queen bed and the "queen size" is all out of stock? would a full size work, or be too small??? thanks for your help!
Dobela
Full size will be too small - too narrow. We often buy king size for our queen bed because the sides will be long enough even after the comforter is washed (and shrinks as is usually our case)

homeschoolally
Sorry, but I don't think you'd be happy with it! We buy king size for our queen beds like the other poster. A full isn't going to cover it. Have you looked online for the brand-name and style? You might be able to find it online using nexttag.com, they search all over the net for the retailers who carry the item you're looking for. Cinder
Agreeing with the others. I find that the queen *just* fits the width of the bed. Full is a bit narrower than that. I think I'll get a king size next time. Cinder
Corraleno
:iagree: with all of the above. I always buy a king comforter for a queen bed. Jackie

KidsHappen
I agree with everyone else. We buy Queen sizes for the girls double beds. Unfortunately we have a king and it is hard to find bedding big enough to cover it well. I am thinking next time we will buy a queen. vkay
It will fit IF your queen is a sleigh bed or captain's bed. We have full size on a queen captain's bed and it fits perfectly. It works in this case only because there is a foot to the bed and the comforter doesn't have to go over the end, and there is wood halfway up the sides, so the sides don't have to be long. Otherwise, it would be too small.
