I taught my two children to read and spell, with the help of my reading-expert-public-school-teacher-Mom. I also spent two years teaching reading and spelling skills to about 15 other children (ages 5-15) via private tutoring. I also spent time working in a Kumon learning centre, helping children with reading aloud practice. I'm willing to get together with individuals or small groups to help other parents learn to teach these skills to their children.
