Jane in NC Posted January 11, 2010 Share Posted January 11, 2010 The term is relative, Janie. In the high school sense, it is often used to describe courses beyond Algebra II/Trig. This would include Precalculus, Intro to Statistics, Calculus, Discrete Math. In college, "higher maths" might be those undergrad courses beyond Differential Equations.
