Jeanne in MN
Do any of the state parks in CA have camping cabins like we do here in MN? Many of our state parks have $40/night camping cabins with beds for 5-6 people. I can't find anything at the CA state parks website or through searches. Thank you! MUJLBE
There are cabins. The best way to find them is to go to one of the reservation web sites and do a search by type-cabin and state-CA. One reservation site is http://www.reserveamerica.com and the other is http://www.recreation.gov These types of sites sell out quickly so you often have to reserve at the exact time that they become available-they sell out in minutes. Many, if not most, of the KOA Kampgrounds also have cabins now -- of different sizes; some with bathrooms and kitchens, some without. This is what we do when we go camping.
