Camping in CA-camping cabins?

Recommended Posts

There are cabins. The best way to find them is to go to one of the reservation web sites and do a search by type-cabin and state-CA. One reservation site is http://www.reserveamerica.com and the other is http://www.recreation.gov These types of sites sell out quickly so you often have to reserve at the exact time that they become available-they sell out in minutes.

Do any of the state parks in CA have camping cabins like we do here in MN? Many of our state parks have $40/night camping cabins with beds for 5-6 people. I can't find anything at the CA state parks website or through searches. Thank you!

Many, if not most, of the KOA Kampgrounds also have cabins now -- of different sizes; some with bathrooms and kitchens, some without. This is what we do when we go camping.
