Robin in DFW
does anyone know of a study guide with answers for this book? I've looked around, but can't find anything. Free would be good.:D Thanks, Robin
Nicole M
No! It never occurred to me to even think of such a thing, but that would be neato-bandito! I have a dear friend who is a US History prof. I'll ask him.
jlovebaker
They've got all sorts of stuff on there ... here's a start: http://www.history.com/classroom/admin/study_guide/archives/thc_guide.0451.html. Well, now that I'm looking at it - this is for Founding Fathers - but they are related. There's seems to be more on History Channel/PBS websites but gotta go make dinner and prepare for the snowstorm! UPDATE: http://www.bookrags.com/studyguide-founding-brothers/. This is a 63 page study guide ... Cost is $7.99. Edited December 19, 2009 by jlovebaker
Nicole M
Okay, I heard from my professor friend. He doesn't know of a study guide, but he did send me his notes from an introduction that he wrote to prepare for a faculty book group that was discussing Founding Brothers. The intro is fascinating, about Ellis, mostly, and explores the idea that we create the narratives of our lives (Ellis, turns out, has generated quite a bit of scandal surrounding the fabricated narrative of his own life, and was quite artful in his non-apology for his lies). My friend has given me permission to send along his notes "to whomever" so if you're interested, PM me with your email address, and I will forward them.
