Yabusame
Many people tend to come on here and list all the books they want to read in a semester or a year. I thought I'd let you all see the list of books I've read over the past year for comments and discussion. I try and read as much as I can but I don't always get as much time as I like. Anyway, here's my list in the order they were finished (not necessarily the same order they were started): The Robe by Lloyd C Douglas Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut (couldn't finish this one) Memoirs of a Superfluous Man by Albert Jay Nock History of the Ancient World by Susan Wise Bauer Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbott The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer by Philip Carlo An Introduction to the Ancient World by Lukas de Blois & RJ van der Spek Kitchener's Last Volunteer: The Life of Henry Allingham by Henry Allingham & Dennis Goodwin The Book Thief by Markus Zusak Secrets of a Buccaneer-Scholar: How Self-Education and the Pursuit of Passion can Lead to a Lifetime of Success by James Marcus Bach Republic by Plato Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury The Peloponnesian War: Athen and Sparta in Savage Conflict 431-404BC by Donald Kagan The Story of Mathematics by Anne Rooney Seven Against Thebes by Aeschylus Androcles and the Lion by George Bernard Shaw Brother to Demons, Brother to Gods by Jack Williamson History of the Peloponnesian War by Thucydides (Landmark Edition) Hope you enjoyed the list.
