homeschoolin'mygirls Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 My dd and I made the filling for some of the mini-pies in a jar. Only I added too much cornstarch to thicken the filling. gardening momma Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 Has the filling been cooked yet? If not, I would heat it to a boil, stirring occasionally. Let it cool a bit, and see how much it thickens. If it thickens too much, you have too much flour/cornstarch. If it seems fine, then use it as planned.
