QueenCat
I am seeking resources on how to write a good research paper, step by step, including documentation (MLA). Thanks!
Miss Marple
Here is one of my favorite sites: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/ http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/658/01/ Click on Research & Citation on the right and you'll get all kinds of styles (MLA is listed)

Jenn in CA
We're using this book: Writing a Research Paper: A Step by Step Approach, published by Sadlier Oxford. It's a thin paperback. I found the brain-storming/choosing your topic/outlining section/s to be especially valuable for a first-timer. It has some exercises to practice this for various topics, which you can skip or do, as well as exercises which help you with your paper specifically. It also has a great breakdown of how long each step should take, depending on how long you have to write the paper. Your child can use this book to completely guide him/her through the paper. QueenCat
Thanks for the website suggestions. I'd seen the OWL ones before but not the others. The book looks good too, and is much cheaper than others I've seen!
