Nan in Mass Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 My son did it at the same time as NEM1 (a mix of pre-algebra, geometry, and some of algebra 1). You have to be able to manipulate simple equations like x/y=z, you have to understand negative numbers, and you have to know what exponants are. You also have to be able to deal with scientific notation and be able to convert units. I think I remember there being a section at the back of the book which explained how to do this.
