Jennifer
I lost 11 lbs using SparkPeople between July and December of 07. (Most of that was in July and August!) I've gained a few pounds so I started back up with SparkPeople. I entered my food intake today-My goal is 1200-1500 cals/day. I had at least 2900 today!!:eek::eek: So, I am GOING TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT!! Does anyone want to join me? I thought I could post an accountability thread if anyone was interested. theodwyn
I need help too. I lost 25 lbs a couple of years ago on weight watchers but gained most of it back and having trouble taking it off again. Count me in! Wendy

Heather in the Kootenays
I've been making a half hearted effort at using SparkPeople. I probably should join you in an accountability thread but I have such a horror of committing and then failing at it.
Tarheel Heather
I've got 15 that could go! And what is spark people, maybe I should go look!:)
momofkhm
Running rarely this year has led to a 15 pound gain. I need to lose more like 35 though. I have no idea how much I'm eating these days.
Serendipity
I'll join your accountability thread! :) My deal is this: I made a list of items I need to eat each day. These items are: 1/2 c whole grain cereal 1 C cooked vegetable or a very small salad before lunch AND dinner 1/2 c of broth based soup before lunch AND dinner 1 serving of fruit before breakfast AND lunch AND dinner 1 frozen entree for EITHER lunch or dinner 2 C 1% milk So far, my experience is that I am pretty full after the vegetable, soup, and fruit so I'm eating far, far, far, far, far less than I was a week ago. I started last Thursday. I am focusing on what I need to ADD to my day to be a healthier eater rather than on what I am not supposed to have. In fact, I tell myself that I can have whatever I want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...as long as I've met my healthy eating requirement for the meal. For the first time in five years of trying to lose weight, it's happening. :)
Laura Corin
I'm back on Sparks having put on three pounds of the fifteen I lost. I was travelling and pigging out. I'm trying to get back down to 125 with a final goal of 120. I have seven weeks before I have to go travelling again (arg!). Laura
Cindyg
Jennifer, I thought that was you! I was thinking, "You don't need to lose any weight!" If that's not you, who is it? (And I hope it's not somebody who everybody on the planet knows but me. I live happily under a rock.)
Milseain
I'll join your accountability thread too! But it's not that I eat to mush, it's that I don't eat enough. I am focusing on what I need to add to my day to be a healthier eater rather than on what I am not supposed to have. I exercise 30 min. to 60 min. 5 days a week. I look like I'm 4 to 5 months pregnant and my youngest just turned 6 years old. :( I guess I need someone to help me make sure I eat 5 to 6 healthy meals a day. ;) I hope you ladies are up for a challenge. :D
Pam "SFSOM" in TN
Me. It's sad. I'll post pounds and inches if I can remember to measure myself tomorrow. :p
Jennifer
Excellent! I will start a new thread tonight titled "Weight Loss Accountability" and do a new one each week. Feel free to post whatever you'd like, your goals, current weight, intake, exercise etc. Thanks! Jennifer
Elisabeth in IL
Jennifer, I thought that was you! I was thinking, "You don't need to lose any weight!" If that's not you, who is it? (And I hope it's not somebody who everybody on the planet knows but me. I live happily under a rock.) It's Jennifer Garner who is an actress and married to Ben Afleck. I'm sure that you do not live under a rock, you just don't live in front of your TV. :)
