But it is so hard to fit in, time-wise. Junior high and high school work take so much longer to grade than elementary work! What works for you? When do you do your grading? jibaker103 Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 My plan was to do it every evening but I'm exhausted by the end of the day having to run a daycare from 7 to 5:30 pm and hs Noah too. So I try to get it done in the morning before he starts his day, however I'm not getting to it all!!! So the remaining stuff get's graded while the rugrats are sleep and Noah's working independently!!! For some stuff I have the kids grade (math homework). The rest I do it in the evenings or weekends. But so far it is easy stuff I am grading since we are just starting. Chemistry is by tests, again immediately. Math is also tests since she grades daily work by herself. Spanish I grade every few days but quizzes and tests immediately. BIIIG cuppa coffee, nice and quiet, fresh eyes --worked for me. Sometimes, I could get things graded as they were turned in.
