QueenCat
I need suggestions on how to teach good note taking skills. From different sources: books, websites, lectures. I still haven't figured out what to use as a lecture. I do know that ds will need the skills in college. And the other ds, who is in college, does not do very well with note taking so I can't get input from him!
dirty ethel rackham
Have you tried How to be a Super Star Student from the Teaching Company. We are not done with it, but so far, it has helped my oldest with notetaking.
jlovebaker
We just started the program - we've done three lessons so far - but one of the skills that will be taught is notetaking. We're now doing key word outlines and rewriting paragraphs with style. I really like it so far and one of my concerns in notetaking and outlining and Mr. Pudewa has done a good job so far. QueenCat
Thanks! I plan to look at this one as a friend has one I can borrow. Does it teach note taking from different types of sources? Have you tried How to be a Super Star Student from the Teaching Company. We are not done with it, but so far, it has helped my oldest with notetaking.
