melissel Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 In the toolbar at the top, there should be a button with a paragraph symbol on it. You should be able to click it, and it should turn the invisible characters off. In my Word docs, it's right next to the little red toolbox icon. ETA that I found the other way to do it if you need it. I'm on a Mac, so your menus may differ, but in mine, under the Word menu (at the top), if I choose Preferences, it gives me a window pane where I can see an option to view Nonprinting Characters.
