Laurie4b
I've searched and can't find what I'm looking for. I'd like a rundown of what a homeschool parent needs to do for the college application process. Ds is a rising junior. Does anyone remember any threads like that? Or could we start one? TravelingChris
I don't know of one. I sure would like to know and make sure I am not missing things. One thing is time the tests like if you are taking SAT 2's, make sure you leave enough test dates for those. ANother thing I know may help to do now and I think I will work on soon is the homeschool addendum to the common application. Even if my dd doesn't apply with that, the document is similar enough to other homeschool addendum documents I have seen.
K-FL
From our experience, the top 2 things are a transcript & SAT/ACT scores. Some schools req. SATII's some don't. I'd guess most don't want a portfolio due to space & time constraints. Here's an old interview w/Cafi Cohen that may help. Her Homeschool Admissions book is full of good info.
