Guest mommyof2monkeys+princess
I think I may go ahead a make the jump and order it on Friday but I wanted to hear if anyone has actually personally spent the money and used it. It looks like it is exactly what we need for ds. I will "tutor" him for the rest of this year and hopefully dh and I can decide what we want to do for next school year. Quiver0f10
I had never heard of this system before, but I just spent the last hour looking over the site and watching the demo. I am interested! I hope someone who has used this will join in because I'd love to hear from actual users.
Claire
There are several parents who have used Barton on the dyslexiasupport2 list.

Homeschooling SLP
I am a homeschooling mom but professionally am a speech-language pathologist. Susan Barton's program is great. It is expensive, but it will work. For those who don't know all of the theory of reading and spelling, and disorders thereof, this program is exceptionally well laid out...Very systematic so that anyone can just follow it. Sixmeadows
we are on level 3 right now(zipped through level 1 and 2). I find it easy to use and she explains the process very well on the DVDs. Since we are sort of at the beginning stages I do not have much to report but will be glad to give feedback when we get a bit further in to this.
