5knights3maidens
My ds has attended christian school all his life. He is in his senior year and my dh doesn't want to send him ($ And private matters). Dh told me to look into the PA k 12 Virtual Charter School. I have no idea about this. I did find something online and already see that they do not have Physics, which he wanted to take. He also wants to take Art III. Can you do this K-12 and add another subject that he would take separately?
Joy at Home
I'm surprised they don't offer Physics? The best thing to do would be to talk to a K12 advisor and see their high school sequence, and how to tailor classes on your son's needs based on what he's taken already and what he needs to graduate. With PAVCS, being a public school, you would use their curriculum from a to z. There are other cyber charters in Pa, including Pa Cyber Charter School, which uses Lincoln Interactive. Maybe you could compare a couple of charters and see which ones fit your son's needs best? Good luck! Lisa
Maryalice
There are 11 public cyber charter schools in PA, all different. Since they are public, they are free. Some pay for community college classes also. http://www.pde.state.pa.us/charter_schools/lib/charter_schools/2008-09_Cyber_List_7-8-09-3.pdf
