Secular or lightly Christian accredited high school programme?

Recommended Posts

My sister is teaching at a very small international school in China which needs some kind of accredited programme to allow the students to apply to universities in the West (transcripts from the school are not working). The school is thinking about Alpha Omega but my sister would like to know about other options because a) the school is lightly Christian but AO is a bit more than that and b) it seems very centred on the US, whereas the school has pupils from many countries.

Do you know of any alternative accredited homeschooling programme that the school could use, particularly for high school? Lightly Christian is fine but secular would be okay too. A more international outlook would be a plus, but they might be able to work around that.

I have also told them about the option of offering US SAT, SAT subject tests and APs.

Thank you

Laura

I'm assuming that when you say the school is thinking about "Alpha Omega" it's thinking about Alpha Omega Academy (just to clarify, because some people do think that teaching materials are accredited, which they are not, when it's schools that are). The major problem with that is, of course, that the students have to use all AO materials.

Clonlara is accredited and has international students.

There's Laurel Springs.
