nansk
I found this italics font that is available for free download. The samples look beautiful and I hope it will be a big help to those who want to create Getty-Dubay-style italics copywork. It is called the Victoria modern cursive font. http://www.education.vic.gov.au/studentlearning/teachingresources/english/handwriting.htm Sample http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/edulibrary/public/teachlearn/student/alphabetmodele.pdf EDIT: I found another free italics font from down under. It is called the Queensland font and it is available in both print and cursive styles. The package includes a very helpful PDF guide on cursive joins, plus a document editor program which creates the cursive joins (regular document editors like Word wont create the joins but can display the basic cursive font.) Download the zip package here and install SETUP.EXE http://education.qld.gov.au/curriculum/area/literacy/qcursive/ Edited March 13, 2010 by nansk

materursa
I'm not sure if you would get every image you need for MOH here, but, there is a set of over 1000 free timeline figures here at Westvon Publishing. Also, a good place for a whole bunch of free history books is Heritage History.

stripe
Thanks for making that list! By the way, you could add Mater Amabilis to your list http://www.materamabilis.org/ma , as it's a free Catholic CM style curriculum. You might want to put the acronym MEP or what it stands for (Mathematics Enhancement Programme) there instead of "Centre for Innovation (UK)" as I think more people call it MEP. Laughingmommy
http://worldhistoryforusall.sdsu.edu/ There are extra guides you can buy called Bring History Alive. Cindyg
For Spanish, Mi Vida Loca. This saved our school year, after a disastrous beginning with BJUP Spanish 1 with DVDs. Mi Vida Loca is for middle school students, and probably not for your first exposure to the language. But if you've had a little intro, it's terrific. silliness7
Awesome List!! I didn't see our current free favorite www.bookadventure.com Reading comprehension quizzes with prizes. This is mainly for elementary-aged students. ETA: I copied and pasted this from the top of their website. Book Adventure is a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children create their own book lists from over 7,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read, and earn points and prizes for their literary successes. Book Adventure was created by and is maintained by Sylvan Learning.
