annabanana1992
Does anyone have or know where I can get a syllabus for Foerster's Algebra I? Thanks!
CO MOM
I just received the TE for the Foerster text (2006) and it has suggested number of days and suggested assignments for each section in the margins, so if you have that you could probably figure out a schedule/syllabus. It also suggests in the intro that the second part of the book "allows more flexiblility in selection of sequence and topics to fit students' needs and available time." This would imply to me that you want to make sure they really get everything in the first part, and that you may not get to everything in the second part depending on your student. It also states that the first two chapters move more slowly, so if much of this is review, you could move faster through it. We will probably try using Math Without Borders CD's so don't know if that will offer any sort of schedule or not. HTH.
