Love2Smile
If you use this for 9th grade ancients what would you use as a spine? Im a little confused about TQ and how it *works*,.. can someone explain it a little for me? Does it include writing or would I need a seperate writing curriculum? All I have is the lower grades so not sure about the higher level owns. The AM.Hist I only has 6 of them but you could add to that as you go if you wished. We were using Veritas Press Omnibus for literature at the same time, and incorporated a lot of the writing from that program into our history study. Personally, I'd add more writing to your program than just the Think/Writes, although they are good. I just feel a high schooler needs more writing experience than just that. Rita
We're planning on using Middle Ages this coming school year, so I'm not an expert! BUT, in reading the beginning part of the book, she has a list of recommended "spines" that seem to be in most assignments. If you go to their website, and click on the study you are planning on using, you can see a list of "optional spine resources" for the guide. I hope this helps at least some! and I'm be watching this thread with interest :) Blessings, Rita
