Merry
I won't be needing to use the Chalkdust Algebra 1 for five or six more years until my ds starts eighth or ninth grade. Should I hold on to my book and videotapes until then and hope that I will still have a vcr then or should I sell now and repurchase it with DVDs later? My budget will still be tight then, I'm sure. Carol in Cal.
Maybe you could call them and ask whether, as a good customer, you can upgrade for a much smaller investment amount.
Retired
Why don't you just copy your VHS tapes to DVD? Then you will have a personal copy on DVD. I just don't see why you would want to buy the same curriculum twice. The math is not going to change. I personally think that it would be okay as long as you don't plan on selling your homemade DVD. I have done this with some curriculum but I would never sell them. I plan on throwing them away when I am done. There are several methods of converting VHS to DVD. Do google search and see if any would work for you?
